Pioneer High School Girls JV Volleyball Team competed in the Huron High School Invitational volleyball tournament. In the first round of pool play, Pioneer beat Milan 25-15 and 25-14. In the second round, Pioneer Beat Erie Mason 25-20 and 25-17. In the third round, Pioneer was defeated by Novi 22-25 and 11-25. Pioneer finished pool play as a second seed in the Gold Medal Bracket. In the quarter-final Pioneer beat a very good Coldwater team 2 games to 1, losing the first game 16-25 before rallying to win the next two 28-26 and 15-5. In the semifinals against Port Huron, Pioneer lost the first game 19-25 then rebounded to win the second game 25-21 before falling in the third game 15-11.
