Jim (Edward) Briegel - Athletic Alumni 2007
Jim Briegel was a graduate of the class of 1943. He has always loved and been active in sports. He entered high school at 90 lbs. and stood 4’10” tall. His athletic choices were limited. Already quite proficient in golf, it was a natural choice lettering for 3 years and selected as Captain his senior year. He was also a 3-year member of the Wrestling and Cheerleader teams and was also elected Captain of the Cheerleaders. Jim remained a long time Ann Arbor resident though presently resides in Redford, MI. He’s proven himself as a golfer-extraordinaire, qualifying in golf competitions all over the world – from Michigan to California, even Scotland! He will always consider Ann Arbor his home.
