Last weekend at Waterford Kettering High School, Birmingham Brother Rice hosted the 2019 Warrior Relays. Ann Arbor Pioneer took the 1st place team trophy with 370 points, followed by U of D Jesuit with 310 points and Birmingham Groves scoring 302 points.
Winning Pioneer relays included the 400 medley (Caleb Rice, Sung-Jae Lee, Robert Yang, Cameron Williston), 800 free (Gabriel Labadie, Alec Lipham, Jack Shemke, Teodor Jaworski), 200 medley (Jack Wilkening, Vaughn Hajra, Robert Yang, Ryan Hume), 400 IM (Caleb Rice, Cameron Williston, Vaughn Hajra, Ryan Hume), and 200 free (Koa Williams, Gabriel Sanchez-Burks, Jack Shemke, Jack DeBona).
Teodor Jaworski earned a state qualification cut in the 100 freestyle.
