Pioneer pulls off a comeback win on the road against Toledo Central Catholic. After giving up 39 points in the first half the Pioneer defense became stingy and only allowed 19 points in the second half. Freshman PG Lauren DeWolf powered the attack with 20 points to go along with 5 steals. She was not alone, Asaria Turman recorded her 3rd Double Double of the year with 14 points and 13 rebounds and 2 blocks, Corine Burgard with 11 points 7 rebounds and 3 steals, and Mya Hicks 9 points and 5 rebounds.
The team also had an early holiday dinner and spent Sunday touring Stroh center in Bowling Green, Ohio, and visiting with the Bowling Green basketball team, the alma mater of Coach Ali Mann. Pioneer will be back in action on Dec 27th vs Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard.
