BEDFORD SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 46
Pioneer hangs on to beat Bedford on Friday night. Bedford's zone defense was effective and held Pioneer to a 30% shooting evening. Overcoming its shooting woes Pioneer was able to hang on for the victory. Asaria Turman turned in another Double Double on the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Whitney Gallagher chipped in 11 points including a 4th quarter 3 that helped seal the deal for Pioneer. Pioneer is now 9-1 overall and 4-0 in the SEC Red.
