Pioneer Women’s Golf Qualifies for State Finals

Today the Pioneer Women’s Golf Team qualified for the State Golf Finals. Led by Amaya Melendez 77, the team finished 3rd at the Links of Novi, losing only to Northville and Plymouth, the top 2 ranked teams in the State. The team of Amaya Melendez, Mackenzie Rooney, Katie Liu, Olivia Lyle, Jillian Giordano and Sooah Jung will travel to Michigan State University Forest Acres Golf course October 17,18 and 19 to compete for the State Championship.
Also today Coach Bill Lyle was named Region 2 Coach of the year, voted on by the Coaches Association
