Our Pioneers Volleyball girls varsity volleyball team fell with dignity over Pinckney Pirates last Thursday night.  It was a harsh match  that went 5 sets and 2.5 hours!

Set 1: Won 25-22

Set 2: Lost 14-25

Set 3: Won 25-12

Set 4: Lost 22-25

Set 5: Lost 9-15

Great performances by our libero, Elena Chagnovich  with 48 defensive plays and only 2 serve received errors! Also our defensives specialists Hannah Bond, Lis Cordeiro and Sarah Lewis worked very hard and performed a expressive number of perfect passes and digs!

Attackers Nicole Huge had 18 attacks – 10 kills, Jesi Izirein with 15 attacks and 7 kills, Gabby De-Mott with 13 attacks and 2 kills, Maya Todd with 9 attacks and 2 kills and Freya Benson  had 15 attacks and 3 kills. The kills were possible through the talents hands of our setter Delane De-Sanno Smith.

All of the 12 Varsity players were utilized at some point in the match.
