The Pioneer and Huron field hockey programs joined forces last Monday, October 2 to "Stick it to Stigma," raising funds for mental health awareness in the community.   This event was planned by Emma Hamstra (Huron Asst. Coach and PFH 2010 graduate) in memory of her PFH teammate Sarah Gallagher (2010), who lost her battle with mental illness last year.  Donations at the game were raised for Garrett's Space--programming that promotes wellness healing, self-worth, and resilience for young adults struggling with depression and other mental issues.  More information and a link to donate can be found at Garrett's Space.
