Coach Joseph O'Connell is in his 8th season with the Pioneers, this is his 4th as the Associate Head Coach. Coach O'C served as the freshman head coach for 3 years and as a JV assistant. Before coming to Pioneer Coach O'C coached football at Whitmore Lake High School where he served as defensive coordinator and head JV coach. Coach O'Connell was also the head men's and women's track coach for over 10 seasons. Coach O'Connell is currently a math teacher at Pioneer.
Luke Brindle.
Offensive Coordinator
Biography:
Coach Brindle enters his 4th season as the Pioneers Offensive Coordinator. Coach Brindle helped guide the 2019 Pioneer offense to one of the best in Pioneer history scoring 278 points in 10 games. This is Coach Brindle's second stint coaching for Pioneer, he began his coaching career at Pioneer when he was a student at the University of Michigan. Coach Brindle has been coaching for 15 years and has served as a Freshman and JV Head Coach, varsity assistant and has coordinated both offense and defense.
John Los.
Defensive Coordinator
Biography:
Coach Los enters his 7th season coaching the Pioneers, this will be his 2nd season as the Defensive Coordinator. Coach Los started his career as a freshman assistant for one season and has coached varsity for the last six seasons. Coach Los is a graduate of Michigan State University with degree in administration. Coach Los graduated from Whitmore Lake High School in 2009 where he was a 3 sport athlete playing Football, Basketball and Track.
John Conley.

Coach Conley enters his 4th season with the Pioneers. Coach Conley is currently a special education teacher at Pioneer. Coach Conley is the Special Teams Coordinator and Assistant Defensive Backs coach. Coach Conley has a masters degree from Eastern Michigan University and a bachelors in Secondary Education from Central Michigan University. Coach Conley is an alumni of Bishop Foley High School where he lettered in Football and Lacrosse.

Coach Kucera enters his 4th year as an assistant coach for the Pioneers. Coach Kucera will be coaching the TE's this season. Coach Kucera is a social studies teacher at Pioneer High School and is also the freshman boys basketball coach. Coach Kucera is a graduate of the University of Michigan where he obtained his masters degree in education. Coach Kucera is an alumni of Walled Lake Central where he played Football, Basketball and Baseball.

Coach Vazquez is entering his 2nd season as the Pioneers running-backs coach. Before joining the Pioneer staff Coach V served as a member of the video team for UofM football. Coach V. is a graduate of University of Michigan.
